Authenticity of Student Work and Code of Conduct

At Virginia Tech, all students are expected to follow the Virginia Tech Graduate Honor Code and abide by the Virginia Tech Honor System and Code of Conduct. As per the Code of Conduct, the Student Conduct system's purpose is "to help create a fair, just, and disciplined university community. The university conduct system supports the educational mission of the university by educating students about appropriate behavior and by fostering a community where academic success can occur."

These policies concern topics such as university responses to plagiarism, harassment, violence, criminal behavior, and failure to comply, among many others. Please visit the links above for further information about Virginia Tech's Code of Conduct and Honor System or to report a violation of the university's standards.
